I'm not very familiar with The Golden Compass, but I know it must be a dandy of a movie to touch you so deeply. I'll keep it mind and will watch it someday.

Your dream sounds wonderful. I can imagine the symbolism and meaning of having a faithful companion such as a lovely white dog. For some reason, I think that suits you... faithful and trusting.

Spirit animals are a curiosity to me, I know the Native Americans believed in them strongly. I can't imagine what my spirit animal would be... probably something aggravating with a short attention span like a Jack Russel Terrier or nervy like a Chihuahua .
