Phil
This is disgusting, one of my neighbours is in the same boat and he tells me that centrelink came up with all the training that he does not need, as he is up with it when it comes to technology and skills, he also has a professionally written rusume, heaps of qualifications and he also never gets interviews. The trouble is the Management from Centrelink don't seem to get out of there air conditioned buildings to see for themselves what it going on and also they come up with all this training how to get a job, WHAT JOB! they need to train the Employers. Maybe they need to do the same dirty tactics that you do but no they wouldn't do that. They might get a fright. The problem lies in that you can't force an employer to take on an elderly person regardless of his qualifications. This is a problem world wide. I have copied this article of yours and have made copies of it and will pass it to the pupils in my class as we might use this as a discussion topic...

Steve
