Thanks Alisa! I'm glad you liked it. It is quite amazing isn't it? I have to admit, I became a bit obsessive with watching this video, most of the on-line hits for this vid are probably just from me watching it so many times. I couldn't believe that someone actually caught this on tape, so close to what I only had the pleasure of witnessing. I look at this video as a way of saying "OK, cool , so it wasn't just me". I wish I would have seen them that close up, but I'm happy w/my experiences the way they turned out.

I'd love to hear what makes this video real for you. I know what makes it real for me, but I'd like to hear your opinion on what features seem most real to you.
I don't know Alisa, I think you would have put your uneasy feeling behind you long enough to try to get a better look, or to try to communicate w/it. I think your initial shock would have been replaced by the need to learn & become aware. But I have to agree w/you on the screamming. If I saw this lil gem face to face like the dad in the vid, I surely would have screamed like a little girl & ran

...about 2-3 ft. Then I would have turned back around

& tried to communicate

or at least tried to get a better look

. But first initial reaction that up close & personal -

"Ahhhhh, what the hell is that!" Then, "Wait come back!".

I thought the dad's reaction seemed so genuine. Although a bit funny, I believe it to be an authentic reaction to something like that. Also, another thing that makes me believe in this video, is the reaction of the kids. They were nothing but a faint memory in 2 seconds flat! They didn't even stick around long enough to make sure dad made it out ,

they were outty!
Another thing that intrigued me, was the speed with which she flew & the quick turn around she made when she came back & flew by the camera before the vid ends. I know that insects can fly fast, but this fairy is here, then down in the foliage, then u-turns & is back in the shot of the camera before you can even blink. Not to mention, she also seems to have a faint glow to her as she's flying. None of this is PROOF that she's real, just validation for me I guess. But I couldn't have asked for better validation & IMO I do believe she's real.
Oh how I wish I could have gotten a picture of Elma. You would have been shocked to see the similarities. I really must make a concentrated effort to carry my trusty camera at all times.
Orby, I wish I had your gumption. You sound very level-headed.
I'm glad you got a kick outta this Alisa, it's a gem.
