I appreciate your kindness and encouragement. It truly is a gift to receive feedback because it opens doors for me and completes certain circuits. Though I am speaking metaphorically, the circuits feel quite tangible to me and your feedback is amazing and so helpful. It feels similar to telling your worries to a person who cares and is listening, as opposed to someone who doesn't understand or is tuning it out, if you know what I mean. I think you are right about the wolf being a metaphor. And interestingly above I say how tangible metaphors can feel to me. I have seen wolf people in my mind's eye as clear as day and so I wonder if it depends on which dimension a spirit is in as to what they appear as. Maybe in this dimension, a wolf-person incarnates as a human. dunno I really do not know, but I have wondered for a long time now. Maybe a spirit becomes a wolf through being human first.

I remembered something from the dream after I posted it. In the dream I wanted the wolfman to bite me. I have had numerous dreams of wolves and wolf people and sometimes in the dreams I know I need to be bitten in order to become one. But it is something that cannot be prematurely induced (as I've learned in a few dreams where I try to rush it - it has to unfold/occur naturally). Strange, I know. And whilst it does seem so obvious based on werewolf lore and movies, in my dreams the biting is a fact that exists separately from any thoughts or memories of mine. And it is my belief that fiction originates from an existing reality somewhere anyway. In other words, the concept of werewolves, I believe, exists outside of this reality as its own reality. Now why I am involved, I don't know other than it must be a path my higher-self has chosen. Or maybe I even originate from this type of creature. So many questions with so few concrete answers...I just have to flow and accept I can't know all the reasons.

As for the metaphor of a wolf being noble and protective, here's another dream I had about wolf people:

I woke this morning with a dream snippet regarding these beings that were extremely benevolent and kind, but they were defenders that used swords masterfully. It later brought to mind the idea of the Knights Templar (which I must research). The group of swordspeople began at first with "uncles", like a "lone wolf of Texas" (these are the words I received when altered and they made more sense then!). There were initially only a few of them. They were very kind and peaceful, but used their swords with great viciousness if necessary to defend whatever-it-was (don't know, is it the holy grail or what?). I saw these as the dog/wolf people. I saw a male and female.

When I first captured the photo of the bandaged wolf, I kept thinking of the Revolutionary War image of the three men walking playing drums and a flute, with the one having a head bandage (I don't know the name of this image, so if you know, tell me please). Anyway, it's just interesting that the wolfman in my latest dream was connected with a war for independence, and the other wolf-people dream seems also somehow connected to this. It certainly is strongly metaphorical.content
