Bob Watson rallied a DIY 5 Turbo with a Fuego engine and transaxle. Used a draw through system with IIRC a couple of webers. This was approx mid '80's. Went like a rocket but wasn't the most reliable unit as turbo technology at the time was primitive.
Last I heard of it was Bill Hamilton had it and was looking at turning it into a tarmac terror.
