hmm interesting! I'll have to read that thread. What I noticed with insects around here is that they are an abundance of mosquito hawks or blind mosquitos. They seem to be everywhere! few lizards here they use to be a lot, haven't seen a roach yet thank god! but I don't know if this is all due to it just being the beginning of spring. Might be a lot different when summer comes. Someone on another forum mention this about ants:

"anyone having problems with ants? We had a lot, like hundreds this morning and all were in the roof, like looking for shelter and not even looking for food. Mom and I once saw that ants either are like that when it�ll rain heavily or when a quake is near. Hope it�s the rain!"
