Fener again managed not only to disappoint their fans but also to embarrass them on the European stage. In a match where Fenerbahce should have and quite easily could have won the Turkish fans were again left with an empty feeling inside.<br /><br />So, what was the excuse this time? Well I’ll use the words for the ShowTV commentator “the luck just wasn’t on our side†– I have to say that luck had nothing to do with it - the reason Fenerbahce lost is actually quite simple they were OUTCLASSED.<br /><br />Finally, the team that many in the Turkish media said was better than the 2000 GALATASARAY team (the Galatasaray team that won the UEFA and SUPER Cups) showed just how good they really are.
