and now for the next strange dream...Cataclysmic, really. There was a sort of shift and disjoint in the world, half seemed upside down when I looked in one direction. The sky dominated again - blue bright day then dark night in quick succession - completely pithy dar at midday at one point, so that we could barely see a thing - and then the sun was setting in the east instead of the west. Cracks appeared in the ground, but with no earthquake. It seemed to be a sort of rending of the fabric of space more than anything. I gathered my family together and reassured them and said that whatever happened we'd at least be together.

It's probably something to do with spending two hours before bed talking to my middle son about everything from how education needs to be revamped, to tornadoes,to the bombing of Hiroshima, to the nature of gravity and space-time because we were wondering why we didn't fly of the earth and he wondered if a fat kid would have his own gravitational field (yes - we all do!). He probably learnt more in that two hours than he ever does in a week of school!
