Small tremor of magnitude 3.1 just reported 28 km southeast of Fier, Albania

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 3.1 quake in Albania near Fier, Bashkia Fier, Qarku i Fierit, only 15 minutes ago. The earthquake hit around noon on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at 1:51 pm local time at a very shallow depth of 5. km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by The Seismological Survey of Serbia (SSS), which listed it as a magnitude 3.5 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) at magnitude 3.2, The Seismological Laboratory of the University of Athens (UOA) at magnitude 3.2, and The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Geophysical Lab. (AUTH) at magnitude 3.0.
