Magnitude 4.5 earthquake strikes near Alabel, Province of Sarangani, Soccsksargen, Philippines

An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred in the morning on Saturday, January 24th, 2026, at 7:30 am local time near Alabel, Province of Sarangani, Soccsksargen, Philippines, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at an intermediate to considerable depth of 199.65 km.
