Ok, i have some painters working around the building and they were on my roof yesterday and i think they moved my dish. I've lost the signal on my receiver(dish pointed to OptusB3-UBI FTA) and it says No Signal(Rain In Area) on all channels.

Now, my signal meter shows 60% for signal level and around 5-10% on signal quality.

So...you think somebody moved it or maybe something else?

if it is a old tarbs box you`ve got, you will never get it back.
You need a another box, which is not an old tarbs box.Find the signal with another box and connect the old tarbs box back .

You may need to climb the roof several times while trying to get the signal. I don't think they have moved the dish more than few mm so just put a referance marking on the post where the dish holding bracket was clamped - scratch a line on both so the allignment can be done much easier. After the marking, try rotating the dish on one side only few mm and re-checked if the result negative after the second trial then move the dish back to the referance marking point and try the other side again. I'm sure you will get it quicker than trying to find someone...

Get someone to watch the signal meter while you adjust. Communicate by phone is easier than shouting out. Adjust the dish left to right or up or down slightly to increase the signal quality to about 50. Remember the signal quality readings is important so focus on it.

Exit out of the menu when you maximise the signal quality. Tighten the nuts properly making sure that the signal quality is still the same.

Good luck

Mark it with a Biro/Pencil first before moving, look for scratches on the pole, look for any clues to see where it originally was.
