i called today ubi and they told me that the spanish channel will not start untile the first days of may and will not start in the middle of april and maybe at the end of may.

Please be patient. There is some really good news coming soon!

Actually it was a simple enough question? I honestly didn't know how many spanish/speakers in Australia.<br /><br />Yes 100000+ for Aus seems a reasonable market. I shall try and locate figures for NZ.<br /><br />as for the SIC channel I think thats one Globecast distribute on their U.S world TV platform.

I think is about time somebody stops promessing and make the whole issue real..Come U.B.I where the spanish channels in Australiab and also O.B.N we still waiting for it is the 22 of april and nothing happened..

TVChile is no longer been broadcast into australia,(we know that) and yet SBS still shows TVChile news on the weekends....we are they getting it from???

I often wonder about that too megb68. But then again, they must have a special way of getting that feed since I doubt they'd use UBI to get their signal.

The answer is very simple they get the tapes from TVN Chile every week to show it to the chilean community which is part of the Chilean government way to keep evry one inform about that beautiful country..,.

I understand spanish tv still for delay until begining of May , and I don't understand why ubi is showing " coming on april" even technical dep. doesn't know when exactly is coming up. At the moment is the focus on the new channel not spanish on the coming week.
