Hey all, im new on this site... is their any word on the other greek or cypriot channels that are comming to ubi? <br />Me and my dad have been discussing whether RIK (cyprus sat) will stay FTA because it is a government channel... <br /><br />Thanks Deanops

I don't think RIK will stay FTA as i think RIK Sold the rights to UBI <br /><br />As for other Channels Sigma TV will be on soon

I don't think UBI have the rights to Cyprus Sat.<br />They are still up for negotiation and no contract has been entered into. Cyprus Government has strict policy that this channel will remain FTA. You will all see soon enough when the Greek package is encrypted.

I dont think you will get net, as they are part of the ert group(e.g et1,et2,et3,net,ertsat)<br /><br />But we shall see in the next month or two, what ubi actually provides as the 10 greek channels.<br /><br />mixo

Its definitely good news for the Greeks as I know a few and that was their biggest concern who was going to get Mega Cosmos, was it going to be UBI or Select TV?.<br />Well done UBI.

I myself don't see this happening as WMI is the Exclusive company that has rights for it for Australia who sells it to Foxtel,Austar etc ...
