Members,

Anyone playing around with large MPEG 2 video files, and you have to resize the file so it will fit onto a DVD-R?

After playing around with lots of utilities around, I find most of the ones to not create a fully DVD Compliant MPEG 2 stream

However I have tested and recommend TMPGEnc Plus Ver.2.54.37.135 (2.54a)

Not only is it fully compliant, the Plus version allows you dual pass VBR and fixed stream rate. Its available for purchase at:
Pegasys Inc.

If you want to try the free evaluation version (note this is not the Plus - it does not have all the features of Plus) TMPGEnc

Anyone requiring assistance with DVD-R authoring or questions please feel free to ask!
