Here are a couple of special orbs from my collection. The reddish orb is the only orb I have photographed of its kind. The other is just cute. And it seems that orbs have been appearing in photos with more frequency in the last 10 or so years. Some people believe orbs are an anomaly attributable to the use of digital cameras, but many people, including myself, have caught orbs with film-cameras as well. Others propose that orbs are reflections from dust particles or water. They look like it's from the light from the camera!

Camera flash is an important element in taking night time photos.
