Many people are now beginning to re-awaken to the reality of the Faerie.

There are many different forms created by the Earth, which all have their unique roles to play. There are faeries for trees, plants, rocks etc, and all other forms of life.

As more and more of us are coming around and climbing the ladder back to full consciousness, we find ourselves back on a more naturalistic pathway.

We become aware again of the natural things around us and we re-connect and it feels good to do so.

Talking about ‘faeries and nature spirits’’, is still for the majority of people a no-no.

Not many people want to talk about this openly for fear of being laughed at. Children don’t usually have a problem with it, unless they have been told otherwise.

The door needs to be opened before the truth can step through.

As adults, we exist in a world where realities become hidden and our beliefs, no matter how false, become realities.

Science has taught us much, but it is a most mechanistic way of looking at things.

I know how a tree grows, I know about chlorophyll and photosynthesis and the gas exchange.

But, I also have been shown wonders. I have seen the faeries tending to the plants, making the stems strong, Nurturing the seedlings, pushing out the acorns from the Oak trees. I have seen the ‘behind the scene workings', and it is awe inspiring. When one has witnessed this, there is no going backwards.

We are connected to the Earth, Faeries are also connected to the Earth. What then is our relationship to each other?

It is not too late to re-awaken and realise we have excluded from our lives, a lot of wonderful realities, which we can re-connect to, if we really want to.

I really enjoyed your post.

It's wonderful in that it addresses science while encouraging us to realize that there are bigger forces at work than simple biology.

Thanks Dawn,

Getting this information out into the public arena is what is important and what is needed.

fairy This is an excellent post with so many good points, Chris!

My belief and understanding of the metaphysical processes in tandem with physical reality has grown tremendously lately. I can remember back on a time not that long ago when I would have considered it all fantasy (faeries, nature spirits, etc.) and yet now this knowledge has been given to me and is integrated into my thinking and daily life. I understand that what I think and intend creates and shapes my physical reality, so I strive to think more carefully and consciously, inviting positive, happy, fascinating things into my life even if they aren't popular.

And it is taboo tapedshut , as you say, to discuss such things as faeries, etc. Even many of the people who know me best and love me most seem to tighten up when I discuss any of my visions or experiences. Some friends make jokes about it (that's the most popular coping strategy) and others just ignore what I am saying. omg I have therefore held back a lot, not wanting to cause others discomfort. noo But it is my intention to push through this invisible forcefield and continue presenting my experiences and the amazing lessons that are coming from the spirit world. Acclimatization and desensitization must be the key. ahha I hope others will just take me as I am and accept my reality as valid at least to me. I can't pretend that faeries aren't true to please others when I know differently. That would be like trying to carpet the world instead of wearing slippers! winking

Boy am I in touch with this emotion, with about 95% of the people I'm around...
However...
I'm fortunate that in my offline life I do have a couple of folks who will carry on actual conversations about the 'wee folks' with me. So, mostly I tend to only discuss it with them.

Of course here online, I have you 2 nice ladies to discuss with and toss about the possibilities of what is and what it all means.
And... there is another place online, that I drop in ever so often and just give a mention of the fae or wee folks when I think it suits the discussion of the thread... I usually get ignored... but that's not necessarily a bad thing...

Below is a photo of an actual fairy moving out of a bush.
You may notice the method of flying, no wings I am afraid, more like the style of superman with arms outstretched in front.

This is how spirit moves I have observed.

It also happens with ghosts.

Wow, what a fascinating photo. flower I see this fairy as having green hair and thin arms stretching forward like you describe. I can't say I personally know as yet whether or not fairies or any other little beings ever actually use wings to fly, but I have at times captured their image in photographs sporting wings.

Thanks for sharing this great photo! love

There are a lot of green haired little nature spirits around Alisa, they like to blend with the background as you know. elf2

I am not disputing that fairies may appear to some people with what appear to be wings. I can only reply that in my experience, photographic evidence does not show that. I have yet to find a wing on any of my photos. thinking Also in folklore, faeries with wings are very rare. The wings seem to have been popularised in Victorian times in the artwork. Quite often faeries were thought to move by magic or by flying on the backs of birds.

As you see from the photograph, I discovered that this tends to be their favoured mode of moving, arms outstretched, with a luminescent energy field around them, - like Superman. I have many more photographs with identical behaviour.

It could be, that the energy field gives the appearance of having wings, that could be a possibility.

Interestingly, I note that ghosts also move in the same manner when they want to move quickly. I call them 'zoomers' as they just appear to be zooming in towards the camera.

Fascinating. cheerful

You know what's really interesting to me about your photo Chriss,
Is that, to me, it does look like it has wings.

I'll try to do a bit of a sketch today and see if I can show you what my eyes see in it...
(don't be too disappointed, my artistic ability is dreadful...;))

Anyway, It's a beauty of a picture...

I would like to apologize for the quality of this sketch. I used 'artistic liberty' in it because I'm not skilled enough to make my pencil behave and draw what I see. I can come close, but goodness there are some things I just can't get to look right.

I guessed at what the head may possibly be like. The Faerie's head in the photo blends so well with the background I couldn't make it's facial features out.
I hope this looks okay.

So, here it is, my interpretation of Chriss's Faerie picture.

Hi Dawn, wave

Thank you for taking the time to sketch your interpretation of the photo. I always find it interesting and intriguing as to how others view my nature spirit photos.

As always in these shots, there is always the interdimensionality factor to consider. One rarely gets a photo of a single spirit without bits and pieces of others getting in shot.
This photo is no different. I was trying to focus in on just one nature spirit moving out of the bush, but there are others in shot as well. I have zoomed in a little more to point out what I am seeing.

[Linked Image]

This nature spirit is head down with arms in front, moving out to the left of the photo. I believe the light swirling effect around it is its energy field.

If you still consider you are viewing wings, that is ok with me.

Another great interpretation and sketch, Dawn! thumbup I see your interpretation clearly, and a few others around it as well. Multi-D as Chris said. infinity

Earlier I enlarged the photo and dabbed a tiny bit of colour onto the fairy face to show the superman fairy pose:

I like wings. I think they're lovely... fairy

But the truth is...
In my research of the wee folks and fae, the Fae have generally been described as traveling in a glow or a ball of light... wings aren't mentioned much outside fairytales and a few personal sightings.
And that would in fact support Chriss's "luminescent energy field" way of travel.

But as for this picture, My artful eyes really do see wings...

The one problem with trying to show people the puppet behind the shadow, is the human logic system is hot wired to reject the infomation its getting, and only the stronger minds can over ride the primative instinct as to hide the puppet.
In a belief i have, the reason for it is knowlage control. To many people knowing to many things isnt a good thing, because humans either kill what scares them, or put in a cage, or kill and stuff, then put on show, what interests them. sunshine

and in the 1800's and before then, a feary/fiary was just a woman with powers,
But yeah. They're out there. laughing

I like your philosophy, Jim, and the way you put it that the mind must overcome the hardwired instincts to "not see" past the comforting illusion (puppet). coolpeace And I agree that people do seem to have a hardwired compulsion to eradicate that which threatens or scares them.

I will add my personal view... that the soul is enormous and wise. It is stuffed (in part) into a body/brain that is a "vehicle" fitted with all sorts of forced channels and safety mechanisms. As a soul becomes better at driving the vehicle, the soul is able to overcome/overwrite more of the safety auto-pilot mechanisms and drive more expertly and freely, accessing more of its wisdom to peer through human eyes. It is harder and scarier initially to drive this way, but well worth it when done at a reasonable pace.

So a fairy was just a woman with powers? I thought the idea of fairies as nature beings was an ancient pagan concept questionmark elf2

You are correct in your statement in saying that faeries are out there LeJim, they are everywhere.

Could you enlighten us more on 'feary/fiary'?

No, Nymths are a pagan concept of fearies/fairys, that watched over nature with gaia herself. the image of the fearies with gauzy wings, and the look of a minature person wasnt given to fearies until around the 18th century, and the domination of the catholic religion almost whiped out totally the thought of nymths, fearies ect. for the simple reason that any wiccan (old english for witch) was burnt, as the catholic church wanted the country to be catholic, and to rid the country of the pagan religion.

Before then, and after the 18th century, beings like jack-o-lantern, and willo-the-whisps, where associated with fearies/fairies, even robin goodfellow, though given his father was 'king of the fairies'.

LeJim,
You have an interesting understanding of faerie history.

I've been reading and studying the fae & wee folks history for almost 2 years and am always intrigued with a chance to learn more. Could you maybe list a book title or reference link?

I look forward to reading more of your thoughts.

I cannot give a huge refference, im afraid, Everything I know ive collected on the way, picked up things from here and there, and suprising ammount while studying the pagan religion Wicca, the one refference i may be ablew to give is "the exyclopedia of mythology", though the infomation is quite limited.

Two years is a long time, so you must know quite a suprising ammount yourself. I;, always ready to learn more, as i look to be a mythologist, as a hobby if you will. So im all ears, Dawn.

I'm an 'arm chair' researcher...lol Most of what I know about the fae & wee folks, I've learned from web sites or books.
That's how I found Alisa, I was searching for real fae pictures.

I've never studied about pagan or wiccan or any of the earth based religions. I have problems with the idea of spells and rituals... It's a personal thing...

The fae legends are quite consistant and follow through across cultures and countries... Different names, but the same warnings, cautions and end results. It's quite repetitive and gets most dizzying trying to read past the new age mystical fluff that surrounds the true culture of the actual life of fae beings. At least in Grimms fairytales the legends are presented as an actual event with history and/or cautions firmly in place... It's so frustrating...~sigh~

The 'wee folks' are my main focus. I'm not having very much luck because of the co-mingling of fae and wee folks in common reference.
I'm trying to study the 'wee folks' as a culture of peoples.
There's a difference in the 'wee folks' legends across cultures and countries. There are many different names. I'm mostly interested in the American Legends. There's many personal encounters reported that differ from the legends and lore in other countries.

After all my research, what have I concluded? I know the fae and wee folks exist, we just have to sit back and wait for science to catch up to make it official... I'm counting on quantum physics to bring that on...

Thanks for your kind reply.
I'm going to check on that book. It sounds like something that I might be interested in.

Oh and Welcome to the forum. It's great to have you here.
superhappy
