I have seen quite a few spirits that are formed from the mixture of trees and sky that remind me of stained glass art, so that is what I am dubbing these. To get the ball rolling, (or bouncing), here is an example of what I am talking about: ![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/stainedglass/bougainvillea3099.jpg)

I've often wondered about the 'stained glass' spirit effect, because it really looks as if a face is looking at you. Thanks for this post and sharing your cool looking stained glass spirit.... You gave me another type spirit to look for in my photos! Cool! oh my, gh alert! Alisa quick, hide the pictures...

Your photo justs add a bit more weight to the thought that there is no empty space, that it is just illusion. What we class as empty space is actually teeming with spirit at all time. Just because we cannot see it, does not mean it is not there. It just means we have not perceived it yet. I believe that by showing photographs of such phenomena will help in breaking down the barriers, to show people what is really there, because... you cannot take a photograph of something that is not there.

I have many examples of what Alisa terms "Stained glass" spirits. Here are a couple. These, although small crops, taken from much larger photographs, shows spirit looking through what appears to be empty space in the branches of trees.
