An article from the on-line newspaper in the UK called "The Daily Mail":

Is this the proof that spirits DO exist?
By HAZEL COURTENEY

Quote
'At first, it seemed no more than a curious coincidence. Professor Klaus Heinemann, a researcher for NASA, the U.S. space agency, was studying a collection of photographs his wife had taken at a gathering of spiritual healers when he noticed that many of them featured the same pale but clearly defined circle of light, like a miniature moon, hovering above some of the subjects.

Like most rational people, he assumed that the pictures were faulty. 'I presumed the circles were due to dust particles, flash anomalies, water particles and so on,' says Prof Heinemann.

'But I was sufficiently intrigued that I returned to the room in which the pictures were taken, in the hope of finding an explanation - like a mirror in the background. None was forthcoming.'

Nor could he find any faults with his wife's camera. And as a scientist with considerable experience in sophisticated microscope techniques - examining matter down to atomic levels of optical resolution - his methods were nothing if not rigorous.

Still puzzled, Heinemann set out to discover what else might have caused the mysterious circles. He and his wife began taking hundreds of digital photographs at random events to see whether they could recreate the mysterious effect.

The answer was that they could make these shimmering 'orbs' appear again, but only - absurd as it may sound - if they 'asked' the apparitions to make themselves visible to the camera. And they found this method worked particularly well when the couple photographed spiritual gatherings.

Hopefully, some time in the not too distant future, people will come around to believing and knowing that 'orbs' are so much more than photographic anomalies and blips to be ignored.

Until then I certainly will be promoting them on my subforum.

Orbs are wonderful creations. [Linked Image]

I personally dislike the idea of everyone in the majour countries having knowlage of the spirit world. Maybe athiests find it so hard to believe in it all for a reason.

Interesting point of view, OMJ. eyebrow And that is one of the many things I love about your participation on the forum...an angle that would never have occurred to me but generates lots of new thoughts for me. spin

I'm inspired to start a new thread on the dark aspects of spirit. vader

May I ask, why you personally dislike the idea of everyone having knowledge of the Spirit world?
Also, which countries are you classing as major?

I presume athiests have come up with an answer for themselves as to why they don't believe, but I feel there will not be just one reason, there will be many.

There is some stupid people out there, and not all spirits are nice. If everyone knew the existance of the spirit world, hundreds of people would be trying, and many managing, to summon spirits without good in mind.

Also, the world is on a delicate balance, and I believe that belief is more powerful then you could emagine. If everyone believed in the spirit world, it would most probably upset that level of balance. The human race has unbalanced nature enough.

And the majour countries I'm talking about are the ones who have scientists, and listen to scientists to their every word.
If a scientists told the populous the moon was completely made of crystleized carbon, there'd be people trying to get to the moon for a peice.

There appears to be scientists in many, many countries OMJ. China, India and Japan for instance, have so much scientific and technological establishments running.
These countries also have very old established spiritual cultures.
Population for China - 1,321,851,888 (July 2007 est.)
Population for Japan - 127,433,494 (July 2007 est.)
Population for India - 1,027,015,247(March 2001) and a good few have been added since then I can imagine.

Add up the above and you have a great big chunk of the whole world population concentrated in only 3 countries.

The world has always been in a delicate balance and I believe the only way to keep the balance is to alert everyone to the knowledge of the spiritual realms, and so realise that not everything we are doing on this planet is very helpful to us, or everything else living on this planet.

There are also what you may term some stupid people around, who already have spiritual knowledge and are not doing anyone a favour by having it.
There are also many who have the knowledge and are trying their best to bring this planet and everything on it into balance.

So who is to say who should have the knowledge?
And if you aquire it, who is to say which path you should follow?
Not everyone wishes to take the path of the light, others prefer to take the dark path for whatever reason they have and learn from that perspective.

We live our lives creating a balancing act, quite often, stumbling one way or the other when life throws us a wobble.

Life is always in some kind of balance, which way it ultimately goes, may not ultimately depend on us though.

True, but more people would believe if scientists told them it was true. And people need not believe in spirits to help 'cure' the world. And even if it did have a huge effect, no one would take notice to it. Many are arrogant in these times, and look further not then the ends of their noses.

Is this what you truly believe OMJ [Linked Image] and do you think it should continue [Linked Image]
Or do you think there is another way to go [Linked Image]
