Spirit eyes seem to be everywhere. eyeball I notice them regularly, but because they are often not in pairs, I don't save and post them. However, it might be interesting to have a group of them together. And when I found this eye today, I thought that it would be a really nice start. veryhappy

Thanks, Elaine. clink Very happy to have you here on the forum. cheerful

I love your question. I hadn't thought it about it, so I appreciate that. coolpeace

I suppose that it is like the "eye in the sky" which I wrote about in this post (click). The great "all that is" which is everywhere. I have captured many eyes, and I've noticed others do as well. I feel in many instances it is simply the life force that is the earth, the trees, etc., looking back at me as I am looking at it.

But I'm open to other interpretations and suggestions. What are your thoughts? eyebrow

I took this photo a while back, but every time I look at it, I hone in on this eye so I decided it must be worthy of a post! To me it looks like a lizard or reptile eye. Do ya think?

It's amazing how many eyes appear in pictures. I think the universe is always watching...
Your 'Reptile Eye' one really does look reptilian... and a big one too... like dino size... unsure

Very intriguing!

Thanks so much for the feedback OMJ and Dawn! Synchronicity, too, because I was chatting with OMJ about the eye and we brought up dinosaurs. Suddenly the eye made me think of a dinosaur peering through the greenery. And then you say dino-size, Dawn. ahha

A truly incredibly image, congratulations, is there an infestation of Dinosaurs but very overlayed or holographic. Also looks it looks a bit like a green man below the eye peering round the tree-trunk.

Thanks Starchie! I see what you mean about a green man peering around the tree-trunk. [Linked Image] This particular photo taken at a local park with giant old trees was chockful of spirit (I got the beheading crop from it as well eyebrows). This is one of those photographs that I could stare at for hours and see things in it. A scryograph. crystalball Not to be confused with a spirograph. hypno Or is it? happyeyes

There are several different ways spirit eyes are depicted in photos. I like these type of eyes that look 3-D and glassy.

It reminds me of these eyes from my Serpents and Dragons page:

Both of these are cropped from a photo I took a year ago that I filtered with a photo program. It is from the clouds in the sky above my roof.

The disapproving eye reminds me of the many eyes I see throughout photos and in my mind's eye. I have interpreted it as fierce (life force) and not necessarily angry (but that's my hope). eyebrows

Yah I sense that this eye is more concerned with the tampering with nature (such as Weather Modification) as with this "chemtrail" being spewed over head. Your intuition on it feels right, at least in the sense that I don't feel it's angry with me, the eye itself seems more noble, but also disapproving of what is going on. Nature spirits in the trees tend to have this look. Sylphs on the other hand almost always smile even when cleaning up our dirty work.

It's always a bit humbling (& kind of spooky) to me, when I see eyes such as these peering back through the natural surroundings as if they're just kind of checking things out or keeping an eye on things.

The cloud photos are really good. Very nice!
Thanks for sharing those links, Alisa.

I really wonder who or what the eyes belong too. It's so curious.

Thanks for your always enthusiastic and rewarding responses, Dawn! hug

It usually is the single eyes it seems, and maybe these are just singles that happen to be together as well. Not sure.

My personal experience is that these eyes are everywhere all the time, watching and noting awareness of the viewer of them. I see them in photos and in my mind's eye frequently. I believe them to be lifeforce, and "will" (divine and personal) that blankets everything.

My twocents content, but I like hearing other people's twocents!

I never thought of them as being part of the lifeforce, and "will" (divine and personal) that blankets everything. thinking That's an interesting thought to ponder on...
I personally am still undecided about most things of this nature.
But I am sooo fascinated by it all. happydance

I wish more folks were willing to discuss the curious photos, but I understand why they don't... and it totally makes me angry!!!! fit I apologize for being so cryptic, but I think you know what I mean... hmm

Well my good friend, you have been such a supportive ray of sunshine (pun intended) sunshine on this forum, thereby making it easier and easier for me to discuss my ideas and to feel good about it. I appreciate that you also often speak freely, analyzing, questioning, and bringing up truly amazing new avenues for me (personally) to explore.

It is difficult to say all that one thinks, and I certainly have not said nearly all that I think as yet. It is an unfolding process.

I think many are exploring and speaking a bit more freely though all the time as this larger reality continues to unfold. Of course there are forums and groups of people that seem to be interested and yet cannot allow it to be talked about except to criticize and attack (yes, we know the forum of which I speak). I have recently done some internet searching and I am amazed to see how much is really out there now though. Here is one particularly AMAZING link to a woman who takes interdimensional photos and discusses and analyzes them in detail AND in a user-friendly way. Jane Tripp's Interdimensional Photography.

If you go there, I probably won't be seeing you for a while noo...her galleries are enormous!

Aw shucks Alisa, thanks so much. Your just a good sport. I don't know if I'll ever get a definite 'mind set' on the curious photos, but I really appreciate your tolerance in answering my questions. It's the possibilities that intrigue me and you consider such positive ones and I enjoy hearing them. You give me food for thought. smile

Thank you for posting that link. You're right she has a mega site and I've spent tons of time looking at her pictures and reading her entries. I can't imagine how long it has taken her to build her site & gallery. I haven't read or seen everything, there's just too much to take in one day. lol Her methods are unusual and she's a very enthusiastic lady with a lot to share.

I personally wouldn't try the tv method for fear that I would capture a picture of something really spooky looking. scared
Color me cautious! unsure

Do you realize that when first we met there was only 3 websites such as yours that I could find on the net? The numbers are growing. So maybe someday some of the negative attitudes will soften or may even change to tolerant or agreeable!!! We can only hope! pray

Thanks, Dawn. And you explained yourself very well. highfive

Yes, it is a mega site (love your wording) chuckle and I also have not seen it all yet. How about that photo from Prince Charles and Camilla's wedding?! scaredtwitch That is one of the most amazing and scariest entities I've seen captured. And funny thing you saying you wouldn't try the TV method, because I realized I had not wanted to mess with the TV either! I had once seen a paranormal show with the most intriguing story on it about this man that hooked up his video camera to a screen/TV and then aimed the camera at the video screen for a mirror-in-a-mirror effect. He captured images of people that he felt were people deceased. His images were amazing and for me a bit unsettling. I thought to myself, I need to try this! And yet, somehow I just never got around to it. unsure

But I decided to give the TV experiment with non-video camera camera a go as inspired by Jane's photos. I didn't capture much, but I also felt it wasn't my method so I know my heart wasn't in it like it has been at other times. My best (and scariest) photos come from sunset light/shadow for which I have many more to post.

And I do remember when you enlightened me to those two other websites. eyebrow You are right, interest is growing! clink

The chewing tree is a cutie. I agree with ScanDesk about it.

I've always thought that picture off Chris's looks like the Oz Lion.

It's really interesting the familiar aspects we see around us that favor tv characters. Yep, very interesting... Maybe nature folks do that on purpose to give us a smile.

There is an eye that I believe makes a pair of the eye behind the sheer curtain. The other is to the right. When I enlarged it, I could see detail. But I didn't enhance it.

Some of the tree entities have pairs of eyes, others are just covered in various single eyes. I sooo love trees.

Those are great pictures of eyes. clap
There is something a bit surreal about seeing eyes in photos. Even the photos that I have, where I know the the dynamics of what made the image, I still ponder the significance. The eyes are more curious to me than orbs. I think it's because of the connotations of 'someone or something' watching. It's interesting, intriguing and somewhat unsettling at times.

Recently, I took a picture of a Grackle that has something on it's wing that, to me, looks like an eye. I worried that it may be a parasite, but figured that it was probably the way my camera pixelated the under feathers... then after awhile, it occurred to me that the bird may be ill and that it may be something transferable to humans. Our feeder is next to our house and if this was an illness, we may indeed need to move the feeder... I contacted a fellow who is knowledgeable of such matters and ask him what he thought.
He posed another probability that it may be a battle wound...
I tend to agree with him because I've seen many encounters of bird battles (I recently saw a hawk kill a blue jay within 30 or so feet of me...)
He also suggested that it may be a tumor. I think that may be the real possibility of what it is. It's sad to consider though.

I thought I'd share the photo with you. I think it's a remarkably interesting photo regardless of the reason for the eye... It does make me ponder the possibilities...

Seeking meaning in 'signs & wonders' is a part of the belief system that I was raised with. People find meaning in many things that step in to our proverbial paths. I honestly believe that most people do this, whether they admit it openly or not...

This is amazing, Dawn. yes Thanks so much for sharing! highfive

This looks like a giant bird's eye to me. ahha And it is also coincidental that the bird's actual eye is white (as if missing). To me this is an interdimensional capture with much symbolism.

I know some will find only physical explanations for this and other photos. And I might, too, had I not begun focusing on and intending to find the spiritual content in a photo. I would probably explain away anything special in any photo really, or any life experience for that matter if I did not believe that there was much more meaning behind what we initially "see" and diligently seek it out. magnify

Great photo, Dawn! Love it! coolpeace

I took some photos of the moon last night. I knew with my wee megapixel camera, and at night with no light, I was not apt to get a postcard photo. But I was looking for spirit, and they don't mind low light or low MPs. camera They show up anyway. [Linked Image]
