Like this footage (though this footage is FULL of orbs!) I have seen an orb or two on TV (film) many times. I generally watch recorded shows so I usually have the luxury of rewinding and slowing it down to watch the orbs in the footage. I have most often seen these orbs on shows when death of someone is being discussed. I have no doubt it is the spirit of the person they are speaking of, or related to that spirit. I have also seen them (including some black ones and black ones shaped other than spherical) on ghost hunter shows, often not recognized by the ghost hunters. From such intense scrutiny, I have developed a discerning eye for such things. I have also seen orbs when people on film become very intense about their subject matter (talk shows, documentaries, etc.). The orb usually appears on their clothes and travels up their body or over it then disappears behind them. Orbs are indeed real, conscious entities. No doubt! Whether they are a soul, or parts of a soul, or eyes of God(s), living planets, etc. They are real consciousness.

My theory is that often this spirit uses water or works through water particles to physically manifest in various photographed orbs as well as mists/ecto. Perhaps it is because it is an easy element to manipulate. Maybe rain gives orbs kinetic energy allowing them to really shine. Or maybe it is because water is a special element beyond our full understanding.

With all things spiritual, including orbs, I can't prove my theory, nor do I want or need to. And I also don't care if the theory is incorrect or later changes. It is merely a stepping stone to greater understanding and is most probably beyond my full comprehension anyway. Orbs are spirit regardless of how they manifest IMO. They have changed my life for the better! I look forward to capturing them, looking at them, and I truly love them!

Meanwhile, here are some more photos and some close-ups from that intensely rainy night. I have noticed orbs on the right side of the photograph are appearing with a pointed side to them. I don't know if this is a lens issue or my consciousness or what, but I like the look.

Oh, I might add that there were also as many photos of the rain without orbs in them. I'll include 3 of these photos rather reduced as there is nothing much to see in them other than their lack of orbs.

Thanks for the link, VBS!

Watching this video of Terence Mckenna describing a DMT experience (he took a quantity of a naturally-occurring psychedelic drug that is found in plants, and which occurs in small amounts within the human body), I got the impression that what he experienced, in the form of balls (jewelled self-dribbling basketballs), were ORBS! He describes them as going in and out of him.

This experience adds further insight into the possible purpose and nature of orbs, if that is what he is describing, and I think it is. I have written in my journal more than once, "Are orbs coming into us, or going out from us?" It seems to be both!

Also, when he describes the bubble he created, at the urging of these orbs, coming out of his mouth, he said, "it isn't sound, it's vision". This resonates with me regarding the fact that the most of spirit images I capture appear to have an eye for a mouth. There is some kind of cross over with vision and mouth...and perhaps this relates to synaesthesia - when people see sounds.

Orb Shows Face

Here is his profile where you can see a list of his videos and some stills of the faces as a background . He has dozens of videos of orbs, and lots that show him their face. This is amazing and to me - utter proof (if needed) that there are etheric-like entities that appear as orbs and can communicate.

Toward the bottom of his profile he shares how he started hearing voices (voices that can mimic anyone). He finally got an inexpensive infrared camera and turned it on whilst hearing the voices and began capturing these orbs.

My latest...

I was so excited when I experienced this last night...I was in the mood for orbs so I opened my mind and I got my camera, sat on my bed, pointed toward the closet and door on the far end of the room, and started taking photos. The orbs were plentiful. I got the impression they were coming from the hallway, in through the bedroom door and then moving across the closet/wardrobe.

I thought to myself, It's okay, I'll just take as many photos as I want. I often limit myself for some reason. But by removing this limit, I felt greater spiritual flow.

I pointed the camera at the doorway and I held down the camera button (that halfway point - where you find focus before plunging the button all the way down to take a shot). As I did, I saw an orb float/move across the door on-screen! I said, "Oh my gosh, I just saw an orb move across the door!" And it was moving as if from the hallway into the room.

I held the camera and saw another, then another. It was one of those moments of excitement swirling around previous disbelief. The movements were so intentional - a floating yet a movement that could be swift and felt very intentional and propelled.

With each orb I saw (about 3) I said, "And another one!" Saying it outloud helped because soon afterward, part of my brain started the inbuilt denial routine, trying to push doubts. I used the anchor of having said it out loud to fight the command to forget this had just happened.

This really syncs up with what I have come to understand about why all people don't see spirit and why some see to greater degrees. It is about overcoming this inbuilt command to amnesiate/forget/deny within us. Like the Looking-Glass Syndrome in which a person with a damaged visual cortex (brain) would see a ball being thrown toward them, but sincerely deny seeing it, yet still react by moving to block the ball, even though they continue to claim they see nothing there (I can post more on this syndrome--which was suggested to me clairaudiently by spirit to investigate for further understanding when I asked why some people don't see spirit). So the spirit world (dimensions) does register with each of us, though some of us have overcome some of the forgetting and can "see" consciously.

Anyway, I had put the camera down to ponder, and when I tried again, I did not see them as I did before. Maybe I had reached my limit of seeing. I tried filming the doorway with my camera and I didn't get anything, though when I took photos, they were still plentiful.

I feel that the infrared (which was probably triggered when I pushed the camera button down halfway) enabled the orbs to be seen on the camera screen. But perhaps the infrared is used in conjunction with the camera operator's belief system or will to see. Or maybe orbs themselves decide how far into this reality they will appear (and maybe they base it on the seers belief/will).

I will say though, that I do remember a week ago, just as I turned out the lights to go to bed, I saw an orb cross the wall from the door to the closet, and that was without camera. I tried to impress it into my memory and it stuck. Like many such things I see, they are isolated incidents that have yet to become full-time experiences integrated with my consciousness. But maybe soon.

Last night I took out my camera again (same time, same place) and once again witnessed orbs moving about when viewed on the camera's screen. There is no need to push down the button partially, just looking through the screen reveals some of the perhaps stronger orbs in the environment (probably due to the constant infrared - though I know little about the specifics of camera operations and light wavelengths).

And, most exciting of all, to me, is I captured one as it exited the wood near the door frame and made a loop back through the doorway! I practically squealed with delight. Now it is a matter of getting that file, as best I can, uploaded to share.

I had switched my camera to video mode and then began filming in hopes that during that period an orb would become visible, and it did! I will continue to study this phenomenon and capture more orbs in flight. So excited, so excited...

Again, last night, I tried using video. And this time I happened to capture many orbs all once! Needless to say, I was ecstatic. And I will soon get my video clips edited to post.

Though I will have to continue studying these orbs, I feel that they come in little packs or swarms, because there are long periods of times when they are much less plentiful, then sudden short periods where they are plentiful. I also believe this is what my dog has been has been looking at sometimes, where I watch her following with her eyes, things moving around the room.

As I sat on my bed watching orbs through the camera view window, I would also see them in the room out of the corner of my eye. It's as if my own vision is now syncing up with what the camera is allowing me to see, and I am now able to discern them at times. At one point, I "saw" an orb without the camera (though it was as if I only saw it in part, part of me was still blind to it) rush into the room and straight over to me "landing" or going into the bed near my feet. I was so started I let out a small gasp and exclaimed, "Ohhh!" It felt so intentional that it flew to me. Within one second it emerged from by my feet and flew up right in front of my eye, in an arc away from me, and it felt as if it brushed my eyelashes (that's how close it was to my eye). I can't be sure how much I merely sensed this orb as opposed to literally seeing and feeling it on my eyelashes. Perhaps I perceived it with my "extra senses". But again, its sudden approach surprised me so much I let out another startled "Ohhh!"

Yay! I finally got my first video footage uploaded (as short as it is). I have cut the video to include only the 7 seconds in which the orb makes its appearance and then exits. Note that the orb is quite faint so you may have to replay a few times to get used to seeing it. It seems to appear or emerge from the wooden beam a foot or so beneath the light switch. It does a tiny loop and then flies out into a much larger 360 degree loop and shoots out of frame.

I have yet figure out how to do slow motion or highlight or anything. This is me thus far... It is bringing back memories of learning how to use Corel Draw and GIMP.

Wow Alisa, I'm so proud of you! For both catching the orb & learning how to get the vid onto your computer. I can see it clearly, I didn't have to keep playing it...BUT I DID! It looked like it was following you in a very casual way, like,"Oh Alisa, where did you go?"

I'm so glad you posted this, what a nice change from still shots. Although I love pictures, it's nice to see something other than a You Tube vid made by someone else...this one is home-grown!

I also have a sync of course, just two nights ago I was trying to figure out how to get video from my camcorder to my computer. I wanted to post a vid of my family Christmas caroling around our neighborhood. It was our last Christmas w/mom (although we didn't know it at the time) and we did about 3-4 different songs. I wonder if you could give me any tips on how to do this?

How strange that we always seem to be thinking the same thing, no matter how far apart. That was the first time I've ever looked up how to transfer video. I thought to myself, "I really need someone who knows what they're doing to walk me through this", and Abra cadabra...a new video hits AUS-CITY by none other than YOU - SYNC, SYNC, SYNC!!!

What a great capture! I didn't have any problems seeing it, I saw it on first watching it. That's amazing. I guess it was just coming out to say hello. I'm glad it showed up so well.

Jaim, I'm happy to spill all I know about getting film from camera to computer (though I myself am a novice). Definitely start by getting a YouTube account (or other similar) if you don't have one already. That way you have a place on the net to host your videos.

I have a few more short videos of orbs to add here as well, as soon as I get it all figured out and done.

Wow! This is so cool. I didn't realize this post had been sitting here since September and found it because I was looking for any indication that you were still in this dimension (you do tend to disappear). It's so validating to catch something on video because it crushes all the skeptic's theories about orbs being dust. Did you use a video camera or just the movie feature on a digital camera? Perhaps you can answer when you come back to this dimension...I'll have to wait.

Thanks for the feedback, VBS! I used the video feature on my Nikon camera to capture this. In fact, shortly after this capture, I captured within one minute of time about 15 or so orbs of varying sizes come through the door at different speeds (so individual). However, because the recording is an AVI file, it has to be converted in order to be loaded on YouTube or anywhere viable for playing on the internet, as such, it loses so much quality that only a few faint orbs can be seen after conversion. I spent days trying to find away around this, but to no avail. I felt it wasn't worth posting in such a degraded state.

I have an actual video camera though (which won't have the quality loss) and I may try capturing orbs again if I get the urge. Meanwhile, I can sometimes see the orbs that come through that door by looking through my camera screen even though I am not recording (which is interesting in itself that they can be more easily seen through a camera). After these video captures though, I also began to see the orbs with my naked eye and a few even flew directly at me. They were of varying size and opacity just as they appear in photos.

The fact that I have now seen them quite a few times without the camera, I interpret to be because my mind opened wider with belief after having captured them on a video file so I can view it over and over and say, Yes, I did see that! It takes a lot of time and repetition to convince some stubborn and doubtful parts of the mind. And I recall an amazed and awestruck feeling, similar to my feelings when I first began photographing orbs - it is a strange physical sensation (like warm water pouring over me) to realize that these orbs really are alive and flying about and I am witnessing it as something now tangible rather than relying only on faith, hope and belief. Then next step would probably be complacency, just knowing orbs are there and no longer marvelling so intensely. And this might be why I have not felt the urge to spend time trying to capture more orbs in motion.

It's like the first time people witnessed television. I read somewhere that some people actually fainted upon witnessing the "magical" and "surreal" technology of television. But now no one bats an eye at the miracle of TV. Even high-definition TV becomes "normal". Acclimatization is the nature of human consciousness it seems.
