Don't get in a flap, it's just a cat with furry wings

Someone should tell the birds to look out - now cats are growing wings.
At least, this cat in the Chinese city of Chongqing in China appears to be.
Animal experts have been left baffled by the fluffy white moggy, who was born normal - but began growing wing-shaped appendages on either side of his spine when he was just a year old.
I'm sad to think this may be a genetic mutation due to chemical/environmental factors...
However, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if these mutant wings are the next step in the evolution ladder of cats...
I really do think he's adorable (the winged kitty) and would be a feather in any owners cap... lol no pun intended... and I use the word 'owner' loosely as we all know that no human actually owns a cat...
OMgosh! That cat IS cute! It doesn't look as much like a mutation as it looks like it's trying to be wings! And that they began growing AFTER he was a year old. Wow, this really opens my mind! (just a gentle sauté)
You find the best things, I swear!
