I came across this story and thought it and the photos to be excellent!

A woman taking photos with here phone camera was surprised to see the large UFO images in them when she later downloaded them. She didn't see them in the sky at the time.

It makes me think about using a camera to capture the infra-red light that emits from the end of a remote control (try it!) that is visible in the photo but not with the naked eye. How many things exist that we can't see?

OK, so it is so freakin wierd that you posted this, because the reason I came to the site today was to report what I thought might have been a UFO sighting that I experienced last night!

About three months ago my neighbor was telling me of a few strange UFO experiences that she's had in the last 12 years living on my street. We live on a street that has a huge baseball diamond/park/field directly adjacent to our houses.So one side of the street has all of our houses on it, & the other side across the street is all the park - no houses. My whole block, from one stop sign to the next is about 30 houses long. The park is the same length, with one baseball diamond on one end & another baseball diamond on the far end as well. In between the diamonds is flat field & on the other side of the far baseball diamond is a park for tots & kids.

We are very close w/our neighbors to the right of us. We cook out in the yards together all the time, throw horse shoes, play basketball, our kids are the exact same ages as thier kids so we spend alot of time together. Well one night after cooking out & playiong together we all sat around for a bonfire. This is when Joy decided to tell us of the UFO activity that she witnessed in my backyard (before we moved in) & in the field across the street. She said that she witnessed w/her own eyes, a UFO hovering over my backyard. She said that she stared at it for a sec then ran into the house to get Tim (her husband), & when she returned, it was gone.

Then she said that not too long after that she witnessesd a glowing white light across the street over the field that looked orb-like.She said it disappeared as quickly as it came.

Now about two months ago, one month after joy shared this w/us, I was sitting on my porch waiting to go pick up Spencer from school. As I was sitting there, I saw something that I can't explain. It was this huge tail type thing flying through the sky. Only it wasn't really the sky, it was more the air that is just about head level to an average sized man. It came from the corner of my street, just alongside of the park. It just came flying down the street, turning right at the stop sign, crossing the street & flying up ionto a neighbor's tree. I could still see the tail rippling in the air as it flew up into the tree & got lost in the leaves.

Now I know what you're thinking, "What the heck does she mean by "
'tail thing'"! I'm sorry but that's the best way I know how to describe what I saw. It was just this long "thing" that rippled as it moved, like a wave. It was about three feet in length & as far as I could see, it didn't seem to have a body. It reminded me of an eel. It moved like an eel. But as it turned right at the stop sign, I thought I might have seen translucent wings! I immediately called my husband Karl out onto the porch w/me to explain what I had just seen. At first he looked at me like I was crazy, but after seeing how passionate & serious my reaction was to this "thing", he started to take me a little more seriously. He offered to go check it out, but I wouldn't let him, I guess I was a little scared. I mean to see an apparition or some form of spirit, that I can handle & I am prepared for. But to see something in broad daylight that I can't even put a name to, or try to describe w/out sounding like a fool, this I was not prepared for.Nor was I prepared to let my husband go nosin around to try to find something that I couldn't even describe! So instead I sat on the porch for the next hour & a half waiting for this thing to come flying back out of the tree. It never did.

I was tempted a few times to bring this up to Joy, but quickly decided against it, I guess in fear that I wouldn't be believed. But then again last night I experienced something that I just can't get over no matter how much I try to forget it.

Yesterday we spent the whole day w/the neighbors. We hung out in the yards, watched the kids swim, cooked out, threw some shoes. It was a great day. Later that evening, we were getting ready to pack it in for the night, as we drug our trash cans out to the curb for the next morning, Karl & I were standing at the curb talking. I was facing the field & he had his back to it. I would say it was that point of the evening where it was certianly past dusk, but not quite dark yet. As I like to refer to it, it was 'purple' out.

So we're just standing there chit-chatting (facing eachother), when all of a sudden I see this glowing white ball thing fly from over our heads & directly behind Karl. As it flew away, it sort of swooped down like the arc of a smile (not a frown). As it came up from it's arc, it disappeared! I quickly yelled out "Did you just see that?!" Karl had no idea what I was talking about. I assumed that since I hadn't seen it until it was just passed karl's head flying away from us, that he had seen it before I did. It seemed to be comming from behind me. But Karl said he saw nothing behind me or above my head. I was flabbergasted!!! I couldn't believe what I had just seen. I heard Tim giggle from his porch & realized that they hadn't gone in yet. I quickly left Karl standing by the side of the road & ran over to Tim & Joy's porch to ask them if they had seen what I had just seen. The answer was no. But They listened with enthusiastic ears.

When I described what I had just seen, Joy said that it sounded very close to what she had witnessed in the field. The wierdest part was when I was explaining to her what the air around it looked like. I was trying find a word that would accurately describe the atmospheric disturbance on both sides of this thing as it swooped down behind Karl. I used the word 'wake', like you would see in the water behind a boat.I kept saying over & over again "you could literally see the air moving as it flew!!!" She jumped in & said " Did the air look like a heatwave?", Then I knew that she knew exactly what I was talking about!

Between her description & mine this is the best I can do... as it swooped, it cut the air so that it looked just like the wake behind a boat, except that the air seemed to change around it to almost a water looking substance, like a heatwave looks above a very hot street! Now the 'thing' itself was about baseball size, & very bright white. As it swooped by it had a bit of a light blue tail of light streaming behind it. As it came up from it's arc & accended back into the air behind Karl, it just disappeared much like a firefly does when they blink off, except this thing more faded to 'off' rather than blinked. BTW I'm POSITIVE this was waaaay too big to be a firefly, & it wasn't green & it was really fast. Also I have never known of a firefly to disturb the atmosphere around it! It was crazy, & the thing that was bugging me the most was that nobody saw it but me!

I have no idea what that was that I saw last night or that day that I saw the rippley 'tail/eel thing' fly into the tree. What I do know is that something wierd is definately going on here across the street at our field! If either of these things sound familiar to anyone, please share! I don't really know if these two things would fall under UFO's or Cryptozoology, but if anyone knows of something that looks like a brown flying eel or a white orb that arcs & cuts the air like a boat, please let me know.

I just read the above paragraph & realized what a fool I sound like!!! Oh well. It is what it is I guess.

Ooo! Thanks for sharing that experience! I would love to have seen it! I know what you mean by the heatwave look. That is how I have described auras I see. I also have on occasion seen balls of light whoosh by, and last night watched as a dark ball flew very quickly and erratically back and forth across my white drapes in the dark, then was gone. I am seeing these things more and more. Either I am "waking up" more to multidimensionality, or the veil is thinning as some people claim. Or both. They are both outdoors and indoors in my experience.

I have surges of interest in various metaphysical areas, and lately the alien/UFO thing has peaked again for me.

I think your experience just validates how in tune you are with the greater reality!

I also think that what you described is what I often see in my photos (not with my naked eye). Dragon/snake like entities. They fill the sky from my point of view when I look at my night time photos with my clairvoyant vision. I have seen them from the beginning of my searching and they were not at ALL what I expected. I was expecting human forms - ghosts - not fairies, dragons, snakes, etc. But the most prevalent form of spirit I see is the dragon/snakes. So for me, what you saw is validating to my visions.

I really can't get over what Isawast night! I've not left the computer since I posted that last comment. I've been searching on line for something that resembles the two different things that I saw. Unfortunately I can't find anything close to what I remember, but I did find an interesting video of pictures of a jurrasic world/planet, proof of past life on mars & pictures of our solar system that no one has ever seen before(appearantly). I have a few things that I want to post tonight, hopefully time will allow.

Thanks for your feed back, it actually validates some things for me & helped me remember a couple of experiences that I want to talk about in a post. You always inspire such thought on my end Alisa, thank you.

So after spending two straight days at my computer trying to find a video that shows something similar to what I saw a couple of months ago, I am somewhat satisfied. What I'm tallking about is the eel-like thing I saw flying down my street & then up into a neighbor's tree scaring the birds.

I actually considered that it could have been a rod already, but what stopped me from commiting to the rod theory was the speed in which it moved. Rods generally move pretty fast, & the thing I saw moved fast but not exceedingly fast.Also the other reason was that I always thought all rods to have the typical rod shaped body, where as the rod in this specific timeframe of the video seems to have more of an oval base/body, which is closer to what I saw. But tonight I figured what the hell & decided to look it up anyway. Now I feel like a complete idiot for not looking here first. In the video in this link you will see various rods but I want you to focus particularly on the rod at the time of 3:22 & again in slow-mo at 3:27. I can't say that 'this' was exactly what I saw that afternoon, but I can say that if I had to bet money on it being 'this' as opposed to anything already known to man in our animal kingdom, I would go w/'this' every day of the week & twice on Sundays!

Now for the differences. First thing first, what I saw was longer than the rod in question. I would say at leasst double the length, if not tripple. It's hard to tell because I can't really get a dead-on judgement of how big this rod in the video actually is. But to just put a point on what I saw I would say it was about 2-3 feet in length.

Next as I said earlier, the creature I saw didn't move as fast as a typical rod, but it did move rappidly. Let's just say it wasn't exactly doddeling along, I can almost be sure that it didn't want to be seen.

Now couple those two reasons with how low it was flying, which was about 4-5 feet off the sidewalk & that is why I disreguarded rods in the first place. But the one thing that I couldn't get over was the movement! Both the thing I saw & the Rod in this video have the exact same movement!!! A wavey type of flowing movement.

Now take that & add it to the same body shape & we're getting somewhere. The thing that I saw didn't really seem to have a body of gerth. Much in the same way a centipede is long & slender. Only this creature seemed to have almost an ovall shape but longer, stretched in a way. It very much resembles the rod in this video, just think 'longer' & 'slower'.

Even considering the differences, I still have to weigh the similarities, & that being done I'm left with nothing but the simplest answer. Musta been a rod!!! Or at least some species similar to a rod. All I know is that it definately wasn't anything that I've ever seen before in my whole 32...oops 33 years of life on this planet. And just when I thopught I had finally put it out of my mind, I see a strange orb/ball of light a couple of nights ago & presto I'm obsessing over the wavey creature again!!! Only this time I have at least found something to use as a point of refference when trying to describe it. Check it out for yourself, tell me if you have ever seen anything like this flying around before!

Thanks Lady! Can't even express the load this has taken off my shoulders, finding an example close to what I saw. Validation for myself was the main objective I think. Thank God I found it. Now I know I'm not as crazy as I thought I might have been...yes still crazy, just not as crazy as I thought!

I especially like Alisa's, for both the scientific reason, and the fact I am indeed English!

It is true that cameras can pick up inferred light, whilst our eyes aren't equip to pick up the frequency. The mechanical ability to pick up all light, and the organic inability to react to light above a certain wavelength.

I was thinking about how they would cloak such a craft, when the idea came to me. It was so simple! I cried out in my mind. The abuse of Red Shift.

Red Shift is the process when optical radiation - I.e. light - stretches and changes frequency over a distance due to the stretch of the light-waves. Whilst Red-shift is too high for us to see, Blue-shift is too low, travelling into the ultraviolet spectrum. What if the owner of the UFO had developed the technology to make the light rebounding off the craft travel further then it physically is? Via micro-particle refraction, or black-matter distortion(Which is essentially the same thing), if they could get the light to travel so far, it shifted frequencies into the inferred spectrum, then no one would be able to see it unless seen through an inferred-capable device!
