I'm curious as to why one of my favorite songs has an "Explicit Lyrics" advisory. I can't even begin to explain how deeply that offends me. Explicit, would be the word I would use to describe the horror that man (and I use the word "man" loosely) allowed this country to endure. When all she (Pink) is doing is merely recounting the events of our country in the last years and You Tube labels it as explicit, THAT should tell you a little something about the President (former President), not the song.
Explicit Lyrics - that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard since, "Governor of Texas, George W. Bush announced his candidacy for President of the United States"
Thanks for sharing this. I hadn't heard it before. She's good.
But I'm with you...what the heck is disputable about this opinion she sings of?
If some people don't see through the ruse of the "war", then actually, Explicit seems the right label for this song. From Wiki:
Quote
Explicit (from Latin explicare, "to unfold" and thus also make visible)
Be careful, you might see unfolding some information that conflicts with the spoonfed dogma you've received about the necessity and good-cause of the war.
So let the babies attach their label to this song. Little do their tiny minds know how well it fits. Besides, nothing stops the truth from being revealed to the clever people who seek to find it. Certainly not labels that say "explicit" - that just makes us all the more curiouser to have a look!
