<rude words> GoDaddy </rude words>
All is not lost, even if GoDaddy has really done the unthinkable and attempted to destroy Aussiefrogs.
There are at least a couple of (partial) recovery options, even if they don't have a backup (how the @*#$%@ is that possible for a large commercial service provider???).
Much, maybe most, site content is probably recoverable with Google and/or Wayback Machine!
With Google, if you search, eg "aussiefrogs 207 gti", and then use the "Cached" link, after the url on the last line of each result, it will take you to a copy of what was on AF. (btw a very useful feature if your employer restricts sites you can view, but allows Google!)
With Wayback Machine, it "recreates" Aussiefrogs for you, albeit very slowly - you can even navigate within the pseudo AF site!
If we're lucky Google or Wayback Machine might be able to help recreate AF from what they have on their servers (unsure exactly how?). If not, it may still be possible to "harvest" what's out there by direct or scripted access and rebuild AF. The harvesting option would probably need a team effort, coordinated by someone who can pull it all together.
It may not help directly, but it's probably worth posting the details what's been done to AF on the NoDaddy.com site - it looks like we're not quite alone with our woes.
Cheers, Timo
ps Forgot the obvious - a HUGE thanks to Aus-City for coming to the rescue!!!

I can imagine that that would be a lot of work. Good luck to Gerry and all those assisting him in the re-establishment of AF! PS: How good are all these smilies?
