There's a story, possibly apocryphal, about a fellow who likes his Powerpoint for an autocue.
Anyhow, he's a bit late for the presentation he's making at work one morning; rushes in holding his laptop while it's booting up. Sets the machine down in front of him and starts addressing the small audience: "Good evening. My name is John, and I'm an alcoholic."

Seems to me we're kinda like the Titanic, but we've got a happy ending. The ship's gone down in quite a spectacular fashion, but........ Captain and crew all alive and well. Passengers all accounted for, most of us have already clambered aboard the good ship AUS-CITY. A few passengers are still in their lifeboats heading in our direction. There's a guy waaaaay out in the distance aboard a double bass using a banjo as a paddle going round in circles, but once he gets the hang of things he'll catch up. Pity the captain's log went down with the ship, but as soon as we find a suitable diving suit, Mr. Workshy will be over the side and resurface a hero. (I would go, but I just drink like a fish, not swim like one). Mike.

Some Sunday triviaThe word 'macadamia' has four "a"s in it. That's a lot of "a"s for a little nut.

The 8GB USB key I bought from Aldi, has expired! It died suddenly whilst I was attempting to copy some PDFs onto it, and delete others. There's a point where "cheap" becomes an inconvenience, and in this case such a level was attained. Maybe someone can PM me an explanation of how to change the smiley face beside one's username?

....how to change the smiley face beside one's username? An international mood expert explained it to me. You go to the little arrow next to your log out box and a 'pop-up to change mood' box appears.... easy peasy! But you don't get giraffe moods or things like that. I've always wanted to use this one and I reckon it fits...

Such a shame we can't have giraffe moods. The smileys are great though . Hey Kaye, congrats on becoming an astronaut. I'm just happy to be a space cadet . There is a place in New Zealand with 5 a's in its name. Waianakarua. Roger
