I was just wondering do any of you guys recall your first spiritual awakening experience? I don't really remember how I became "awakened" I know it started in 2008 around the time I started working at this real haunted house and for a paranormal company.I know I have a huge list of things I consider the "awakening symptoms" which is basically the weird stuff that started to happen to you around that time. I know orbs was a main one with me and also my eyes turning blue. So with all the strangeness that started to happen and is still happening, I'm really curious on how spiritual progression works? Is it like how Our DNA is changing so we can ascend to the 5th dimension earth? or is it completely different? What exactly is the concept of Spiritual awakening?

I have much gratitude to Alisa because she is mainly the one person who opened my eyes more and helped speed up my spiritual progression ( love you Alisa ).I also started to learn on my own by doing lots of research and reading. Too much reading at that LOL! so what do you guys think is the philosophy behind being awakened? and how did you know that you were? I find it funny that I really have no idea how all this happened hmmm what about you guys? love to hear some stories

The supernatural/spiritual aspects was always a part of my life. It was a big part of the way I was brought up.

The only real awakening I've had, since I started researching nature folks, is the absolute shocking attitudes of negativity and harshness from skeptics. I never realized humans could be so cruel... especially since the believers in this genre aren't trying to do anything but celebrate life on many fascinating levels.

I've not done much reading on the metaphysical or spiritual aspect, I have, however, read more than a couple dozen books and surfed a gob of websites on nature folks. Alisa has been very supportive in helping me continue to seek out info on them.

Alisa is and always has been my Rock of Support that has kept me from totally drifting away from my search of confirmation for our beliefs. Bless her heart, she accepts the good with the bad and never wavers. Her insights on the Lessons learned through it all are amazing and so inspiring. I do admire her so much.

Here's a curious tidbit of info: when I first started my research in 2006, there were only 3 websites with real nature spirit photos on them and Alisa's was one of them. She is a true pioneer in this field and her bravery is to be commended.

I don't know what I'd do if Alisa ever goes silent and stops posting her fascinating thoughts, experiences, support and encouragements to us all.

Thank you OQ and Dawn for giving me so much love, support and credit. I promise you both that you have done just as much for me. I would be lost hearing my own lonely echo if not for your feedback and sharing your own experiences. And there are numerous times that I have prayed for an answer or support and immediately one of you has popped up to provided it for me. I think we are a team on various levels.

My awakening was when my mom told me that her mother visited her in spirit. My mom was not the type to concoct such a story and one of the few people who could have impacted me so deeply with such a story. It snapped me out of my cynicism and set me on a path to find out if there is something other than cold hard "fact" like living and dying.

I immediately received syncronicities and answers once I asked the universe with sincerity to let me know if there is something else. Soon afterward I had the urge to see if I could capture evidence of some sort for myself using a camera. And it worked! Ever since I have amassed tons of evidence and clues, every one of the clues eventually falling into place, creating answers with just enough substance to keep me going and looking forward.

Thanks for always making me feel special about being one of the first nature spirit sites, Dawn. And for encouraging me to keep posting.

As for my experience with skeptics.. I feel some are far from ready to accept beyond their current belief system. If they troll around paranormal sites (as they do) I think it is because they would like to believe (otherwise why would they be there), and they are looking for that special something that will convince them enough to open their minds. But as they search and do not find what they need, they become more and more cynical and get caught up in a vicious cycle of frustration because the ability to step out on that limb and believe is a prerequisite to getting the additional personal experience and proof they desire.

When I used to post amongst skeptics, I found it helpful when I graciously accepted their skeptical stance and thanked them for at least having a look at my beliefs (even when they started off rudely, I remained polite). It helped them lower their defences (knowing I was not trying to attack their position, nor on a mission to convert them) and some of them actually began "seeing" what I was pointing out and at the least they stopped attacking.

Dawn you took the words right out of my brain cells about Alisa I swear she is a Icon and I just can't imagine where I would be without her. I never had somebody that I really looked up to like a idol or role model but, now I can honestly say that Alisa has took that place for me. She calms my spirit and she is just so humble and modest. I never feel any negativity and she is just a great teacher! I don't think you know this Alisa but I brag and brag about you to anybody who would listen I swear honest to God truth!!! I feel at peace knowing that your presence is here with me even if it's over the computer and you are miles and miles even oceans apart from me. I honestly don't feel that way and your son is a blessed little boy to have such a wonderful, honest, open-minded, wise woman to call a mother, man I could go on and on!!

Alisa do you see how many people souls that you have touched. You are the very reason many of us have really taken that next step in the awakening process. Your websites both the old and this one has open many doors for not only Dawn and myself but lots of others. The metaphysical website is one of a kind that I have seen so far and if it wasn't for that one I wouldn't be here on this one today. I know that there is a saying that "angels come in disguises" but if that's the case then Alisa I suggest you get a new costume LOL!
