I have captured it again, just today! [previous post Aperture (Spiral Gateway)] [BTW, consider this anomaly in whatever way you like. I call it an aperture/stargate, but it's open to all interpretations.] Today is has been the hottest day of the year. I walked outside around noon and decided to take a couple of photos. The first one seemed pretty normal, but then they all started coming out white with horizontal lines running through). ![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/5988.jpg) First Photo
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/5988b.jpg) Start to see aperture upper right
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/5989.jpg) I turned toward the south a bit and snapped another photo, but all I could see in the camera display was white and some black horizontal lines that reminded me of window blinds. The light felt blindingly white, too, just looking at it on the display.
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/5989b.jpg) I applied full color curve to bring out as much darkness/color in the image as possible.
The next photo turned out normal, but then the subsequent half dozen turned out white again. I thought maybe something had gone wrong with my camera or maybe I had over-exposed it, though it was working fine yesterday and I had not pointed it toward the sun. Of course part of me wondered if there was a phenomenon occurring right in front of me. I was seeing the images on another level (my mind's eye) and I felt I was somehow in the midst of a miracle. I turned the camera on and off, but the next photo came out white. I turned the flash feature back on, but the next photo was still white. I felt almost stunned. I wandered into the laundry room and tried another photo. This one came out normal. After that all the photos came out normal. However, in analysing them, the aperture arches are visible, and I think that what happened is I was capturing light from the aperture. Here is one of the white ones...
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/6000.jpg) Whole reduced in size
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/6000b.jpg) Full color curve applied
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/6000c.jpg) Close up crop
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/6000d.jpg) Enlarged crop
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/6002.jpg) Back to normal...
![[Linked Image from metawake.info]](http://www.metawake.info/images/aperture/6002b.jpg) Except for this amazing aperture anomaly that appeared with color curve
