An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred only 23 minutes ago 7 km southeast of Trento, Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 1 km beneath the epicenter near Trento, Agusan del Sur, Caraga, Philippines, late at night on Sunday 29 August 2021 at 10:52 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
