Expressing shock over dip in India's Global Hunger Index rank, the government on Friday said the methodology used for ranking is 'unscientific'. India slipped from the 94th to the 101st position in the 2021 Global Hunger Index. "The publishing agencies of the Global Hunger Report have not done their due diligence before releasing the report," the women and child development ministry said.
