Just 14 minutes ago, a 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Tonopah, Nye County, Nevada, USA. The tremor was recorded early morning on Friday, April 1st, 2022, at 4:34 am local time, at a shallow depth of 9.7 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake which listed the quake at magnitude 4.0 as well.
