Just 11 minutes ago, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Nayoro, Nayoro Shi, Hokkaido, Japan. The tremor was recorded early morning on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022, at 2:01 am local time, at an intermediate to considerable depth of 238.2 km below the surface.
The event was filed by Japan's National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED), the first seismological agency to report it.
