Union law minister Kiren Rijiju on Saturday said that a small group of retired judges are acting like activists and egging on the judiciary to play the role of the opposition, even as he emphasised that the government has an excellent relationship with the judges of the SC and chief justices of HCs. “There are a few retired judges, may be three or four activists, who are part of the anti-India gang,†he said. “Some people even go to court and say that ‘please rein in the government’,†he said.
