I watched quite a few episodes of a paranormal shows on tv yesterday. The ones where spirits take things (and then may or my not bring them back), makes me wonder where the spirits puts the items they take.
I guess they take them to an alternate dimension or perhaps they store them some place the people never go.
Where do you think the spirits puts the items?

Also, I've always been curious about the stories people tell about seeing a lit cigarette float in a room, but they never say if they put it out or it disappears or what happens to it.
I think I'd be tempted to try to grab it and put it out, just out of fear of fire.
What do you suppose you would you do?

I've never heard about the lit cigarette floating. Interesting. I have to say I thought your response to grab it and put it out was amusing.

It's a great question about spirit apportation (manifesting of objects). For my I think it is probably a matter of interdimensional movement which can make an object disappear for any length of time (thousands of years, etc.), though would seem only an instant to the spirit moving it (or whatever a moment feels like "outside" of time). I think those spirits that are able can choose "where" to insert "what" inside the construct of time. It only feels like "time" passes to those of us inside "time".

I've heard a couple of stories where the owners of a haunted house tell of a lit cigarette floating through the room. It's rare, I'm sure. Mostly, the haunted people report smelling smoke but never actually seeing the source. Thanks for liking my response. I can honestly see me doing that. lol and I'd probably make the spirit made and it would smack me or something.

I hadn't considered the time thing. You may very well be right about that. Perhaps a spirit thinks it took something for a short time in it's time-line and through the dimensions back to ours it may have been years or centuries.

If time is a construct over the top of all things existing at once, it would be a matter of moving the object into the construct anywhere at any time. Perhaps a bit like a multi-level chess board with each level being a point in time.

Could be. That's like the bubbles of poli-verses theory too. I really think there's something to that.
I believe whenever the scientists figure out how to peek into or visit the poli-verses, they're going to have an awakening of stunning proportions. And then they'll claim they discovered what our ancestors and alot of us knew all along without our having to build some god-awful machine or equation to know it like they did.

Would you be so kind as to summarize the bubbles of poli-verses theory? I haven't read anything on it.
