A magnitude 3.8 earthquake near Bełchatow, Powiat bełchatowski, Łodź Voivodeship, Poland, was reported only 21 minutes ago by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), considered one of the key international agencies that monitor seismic activity worldwide. The earthquake occurred at a very shallow depth of 1 km beneath the epicenter late at night on Monday, September 2nd, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time.
