Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha initiated the 57-day Amarnath Yatra 2026 from Jammu, flagging off over 4,800 pilgrims. Extensive security, including armoured vehicles and aerial surveillance, is in place for the journey to the holy cave shrine.
