Wow quite a good post for a 1st up effort.<br /><br />Just a comment, the part about the customer supplieing the settop receiver. It may seems simple enough but have you ever thought about how much support is required for them to troubleshoot every 3rd rate chinese $20 box?<br /><br />Say Selctv has 500 customers using box X from Chanzou chu hung lee they do a minor encoder software upgrade. BANG! those 500 customer start getting video glitches. What happens to those customers?<br /><br />If the box doesn't have a software patch from the manufacturer to fix it. That means 500 lost customers..
