I think the beings that live underground are very timid, but also very tough and run their agendas while trying to avoid or 'tinker in' we humans' business... There's many mentions of 'knockers' and underground dwellers in the books that I have. The 'knockers' are mostly heard in 'mines'. Years ago, on a docu-show about creation, it loosely mentioned that some of the aboriginal tribes in Australia share a similar story as one of the American Indian tribes about the 'Mother' coming up out of the earth... (I could be wrong... It's been decades since I saw it!) ----------------------- Alisa, your sketch is wonderful!  I'm hoping someday, I'll be able to get the right light perspective and depth of shadowing that you have captured with your pencil.  Thanks for sharing it and your story! Cool!  ----------------------
