starchie, these photos are wondrous! Truly they are! If you are at all in doubt that you are alone in witnessing the elementals in nature, have a look at all the
links Dawn has contributed to other sites where photographers are capturing and seeing the same.
There is a strong subjective element to the spirit world. It is more personalized than the material world and so while there is spirit "there", we each may see a somewhat different version of the same thing. But the element IS there in the capture. And quite often the precise image you see is shared by other viewers. Once you point it out though, then more will see it. Of course some still won't see it.
And I have to be honest in saying that there were times when other very good spirit photos were shared with me by others in which I could not see the image. And THEN, months later, coming across the photo in my archives the image popped out at me clear as can be. I had to shake my head and wonder why I didn't initially see it. But my vision is still forming and there is so much to eventually see. So no worries.
I see the beings you have outlined and I really love them. To me, the elementals you capture have specific characteristics or "looks" about them. This is the same for Elaine's photos that are packed full of amazing elemental as well and have a unique look to my eye. I don't know whether it depends on the area photographed or if it is a personal photographer's influence.
I would like to stress though that all of the efforts you make to show what you are seeing makes a big difference for me. Once I see what you are point out, it pops out at me and it enhances my overall understanding and strength of vision. So I very much appreciate your efforts and all that you share.
Many people do not see, but this is not the focus. Not everyone is endowed with the same talents and interests. Many things on this forum (satellites, space shuttle, etc.) are outside of my area of interest and I lack in-depth understanding. But it does not invalidate the seekers of physics principles and space. They probably have more of a following of believers than I do, true. Still, for all of us, all that matters is our own beliefs and drive. We must march to the beat of our own drum and give ourselves hugs and kudos. And when we need an extra boost, we must turn to others with like belief systems because those who are skeptical will only serve to reflect and magnify our own doubts.
I enjoy your photos and the other amazing insights you've shared with me personally. You have great depth of vision and I encourage you to find support here amongst civil, understanding and similar minds!

P.S. I especially love this one where it looks like a little guy blowing into an instrument or blade of grass:
