Oh man, this topic could really take on a life of It's own!

Your post was so much fun to read. It started opening so many doors of thought for me. [Linked Image]

I liked your point about "random sequences of code". Wow. And then the fingernails being alive but without feeling. scratchchin And how many people have metal plates and even metal bone replacements. How much of us could be synthetic and yet we remain alive. It's so intriguing to think about.

According to metaphysics, everything is comprised of energy, and from what I have learned, everything is also conscious. (Including rocks). That is freaky, but I do believe it is true.

I remember when I first learned about white blood cells behaving as if they had a mind of their own and attacking foreign particles in the blood stream. It was at that point that I began to understand and accept that we are comprised of subintelligences. Now I feel that indeed each bit of us (physically) has its own consciousness.

And sorry for this going off on a tangent, but...one most precious thing I have learned is that the spirit world and spirit entities are also comprised of subintelligences. When I capture spirit photos, or when I see them in the patterned surface of physical objects, they are indeed filled with smaller and smaller beings. Much like our bodies comprised of cells that then group into organs, and limbs and finally make up our whole body.

I think everything (physical and spiritual) are nested from micro to macroscopic and comprised of intelligences. And that leads me to why I feel such a strong desire to align myself with a greater divine will, because I am part of a larger entity myself and I seek balance and harmony with "my others". I am comprised of a group and I make up a group. And so on and so on infinity. infinity

Okay, as for using earth materials for our own personal gain...why not? Animals and all organisms live off of earth materials. We are all children of the earth spirit. We are the subintelligences of it. It feeds us and we feed it. It loves us and we love it. I also believe that the earth is as resourceful as we can BELIEVE that it is. We are only limited by our belief so if we chose to believe we are using up the earth, then we are more likely to experience that reality. If we chose to realize the infinity of possibilities and that abundance exists, then we experience that.

And that ties into my irritation at fear-mongering about climate changes and resource issues. I think that it is beautiful to find efficiency and I advocate for that. I love science and ecology and I admire those that find ways to make us happier, better, more full-filled through physical resources. I think we find what we are focusing on and looking for so if we believe we are running out of resources, we are heading in that negative direction. But if we are looking to improve and increase resources, then that is what we will find. It's looking for abundance through optimism versus worrying about depletion through fear. twocents

Nuclear power...I haven't explored that yet. scratchchin
