A big part of why paranormal existence is so questionable is because many people rely upon physical proof - particularly skeptics.
Proof that can not be explained as being caused by any other source.
I personally believe that ghost, spirits (call them what you will) DO exist.
A little over a year ago my husband was killed in a car accident. After his death my home became a hub of "weirdy stuff".
The activity began immediately - during the first full day after his death (he had died the previous night).
It began when I put my 16 1/2 month old daughter to bed for the night. Fully expecting her to be a bit disturbed and possibly restless because Daddy wasn't home - instead I hear her laughing and having a right good old giggle about something, she was also playing "Boo" and going "rah!!!" (like a tiger). Very out of character for her at bed time, even when Daddy was home... And very in character for a child who has a supernatural visitor. And typical of the games Daddy would play with her.
Following this was the continuous random pushing of the on/off button on the monitor of my second computer. Every now and then for about 3 days the on/off button on the monitor would be activated and deactivated over and over.
Previously the monitor had never behaved in such a way. It was in perfect working order.
Night time games with my daughter when she was put to bed were continuing as well. Each night she would have a "visitor" without fail.
After the monitor antics there was weeks of random activation of one of my infant daughter's musical rattles. When this began, the activity with the monitor ceased completely.
My daughter's rattle worked on vibration, it wasn't battery operated. Every so often for days it would rattle away by itself.
The rattle had never done this by itself previously.
One really unusual instance of my husband's after-death activity was the afternoon that he got into my perfume.
I'm a bit of a perfume connoisseur. Some might say I'm even obsessed. On this particular afternoon I was in my kitchen area talking with a friend and a huge waft of perfume came from nowhere. It was a massive explosion of scent. The air had been fresh one moment and reeking of overpowering perfume the next. My friend and I just stood and stared at eachother - it was that unbelievable.
I went into my bedroom and the smell was so strong in there it was almost hard to breathe. Not the normal smell in a room where a woman had just sprayed on some perfume... It smelled like I'd drowned myself in it.
I went to my vanity and my bottle of "Beautiful" by Sarah Jessica Parker had no top on it (most unusual) and almost a third of the bottle's contents was gone. I'd only used it twice previously - it was almost full when I'd last used it.
None of the other perfume bottles had been touched and no other perfume scents could be identified among the reek that was most definitely "Beautiful".
It's been over a year now since my husband's passing. A lot of his activity has since stopped.
His latest escapade was a joke - typical of his wicked sense of humour in life.
I was listening to "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears a couple of months ago and eating rocky road that I'd purchased from Woolworths that comes in a tub of pieces.
The tub had been closed (I'd had enough for the time being) and out of the blue the lid flew open while the song was playing. I had to laugh, I saw the connection and it was so appropriate. Each time I closed the lid, it would pop open again. Eventually I had to put an elastic band on the tub to say "enough".
