My dreams used to be fragmented and surreal (with a few exceptions). But when I chose to concentrate on them and record them they began to make more and more linear sense. I believe that part of me "goes" somewhere when I sleep and that dreams are fragments of what I learn while I am "there" that I bring back to consciousness and my consciousness tries to translate this multidimensional info into current dimension (is it considered 3-D?). The more I analyze my dreams the more I start to know the places I go to are specific and I go to them sometimes once every 10 years (given what I remember of it) or more frequently like once a month or week. There are patterns that I would not have noticed without detailed journalling. But then, dreaming/journalling is a hobby/passion for me.
