Here's a line of thinking I had today...

I really need to get my haircut. If not for the drive to have it shorter due to this humid hot weather and it currently dangling in my face, I wouldn't be bothered. I wondered what I would have my hair like if I could just will it to "be" whatever I wanted. It thought of the rainbow of colours but quickly realized I wouldn't even want to be bothered having hair. Then I wondered while I was at it, what form I would want to take if I could take any form at all. I quickly ruled out anything from the physical world (bird, tiger, etc.) because if I'm throwing out the rules, all the physics go with it so I don't need to be large, or small or run fast, etc. So what shape feels like it would be good to exist as then? I thought of steam or a cloud which led to the thought of a wisp of smoke. That sounds good. I pictured the wisp to be like a long thin snake and it felt even better. A snake. I could glide along like a ribbon through any matter or dimension. It felt right. I could curl up into a ball, too. Sounds like an orb.
