I swear I know just what you mean about thinking a spider is around and reacting as such. I think this is about fear in general...there is something you are in the midst of facing that scares you, so spiders are being drawn to you to reflect this. IMO.

And the spiders just showing up - that happens to me, too, even during times of the year when they should not be around. This for me usually coincides, as I said, with fear. One time it was when I went outside to take photos of the bats. I felt afraid and they were swooping down in the yard toward me a bit. I reached my limit and I walked inside as calmly as I could but my heart was racing. When I shut the door behind me, a spider dropped right in front of my face (a black spider made so visible by the white curtain behind it). I knew instantly that it was a little physical manifestation of my fear.

And I also agree with you on the cockroaches. We have them here as well, lots of big ones. I don't like them much, but they don't terrify me. I'd WAY rather have one of those walk over the top of me than a spider! But I have a friend who fears roaches - phobically - but not spiders. Funny, eh.

I wish I could precisely say why it IS spiders for us. I can say that some of the entities that I interact with are part spider or take the form of a spider sometimes. I don't fear the vampires or the wolves or the bats, but the spider part is a bit harder to love. Still, I believe I must, so I try. I actually believe they are a part of my soul, spiders, and I would like to overcome my fear.

Great, now having stated that...I await the lesson. paranoid
