I like your vision and theory of what it shows. I've always believed we have a destination, but choose which detours to take along the way. When I was a teen, a friend of mine had dreadful illness and the doctors told her to quit smoking. She of course did not. I asked why she didn't quit since the doctors told her that she would live longer and maybe be able to deal with the illness better. She told me, "None of us are going to die before our time." I looked at her pale face and said I didn't think of that. And then she said, "But how we do until we get to the end is mostly up to us." I then asked again then why don't you quit smoking? and she said, "I want to live and feel alive for awhile before I put these (cigarettes) down for good." I left the conversation at that. She quit smoking for good a few months later when she was hospitalized again. I lost track of her shortly thereafter. I'm happy to report that the last I heard she was still alive after all these decades and had apparently overcame her illness. As far as individual days goes, I think of them like a ribbon of cabinets as per a wakeful-dream I had one time years ago during a severe migraine. The cabinets of the past were lower as if shoved in place just beside the future days cabinets. The ribbon was endless to my eyes either way, past or future, and it was 4 or 5 cabinets high. I tried with all my might to shove that day's cabinet back in the ribbon thinking my headache would be gone if I could just get the day over with quicker. I couldn't get it to budge, but a cross blazoned on the door and I recall something spoken to me, but I can't at this moment remember what it was. Anyway, I fell asleep. My headache didn't go away though until the next day or so. I think of that dream or vision often. It was such a strange and curious thing. Also during that same year, I had another wakeful dream of years being a flowing ribbon almost like a measuring tape. Weird Huh? I really liked that guy's video. His story is believable. I think it's not all that far fetched. I wish he'd of told how he got back to our time though. I wonder if his future self gave him a heads-up on stumbling blocks he may encounter through the years. Thanks for the fascinating and informative thoughts on time. You have a wonderful way of looking at everything.
