I post this because for one thing this is just sheer magnificence. And secondly because I also have indulged in studying and feeding bird and had them, much to my surprise, land on me several times thinking I had food for them. And it is a beautiful experience, though I think feeding hummingbirds like this would be ultra-amazing.

And thirdly, because the swiftness of their wing flutters leave them looking diaphanous and in various stages of transparency, which made me think of fairies and others such creatures that appear transparent possibly because they exist at a higher visual frequency of vibration.

I have never seen a hummingbird in the wild,as they are native to the America's. But i have often seen Sunbirds, which are similar to the hummingbirds, but not related.

Apparently, the Hummingbirds beat their wings from between 55-75 times a second( depending on the bird size)
