I hoped you'd enjoy seeing my bird picture. It's a curious picture to be sure.

Your insights into it are inline with some of my thoughts... now that I feel more comfortable that the bird isn't contagious. Safety first for me. Our wildlife is wonderful but the illnesses that can cross species scares the beejeebers out of me.

I hope it was something of the spiritual manifesting itself for my picture and the bird was released from serving as it's conduit immediately thereafter.

At least it's an intriguing subject matter.

My camera has major issues with low light too... I get so annoyed with it sometimes that I want to throw it away. ~screams~ Especially, when I'm trying to take indoor pictures...


What does photocopied mean?

Oh, and by "photocopied" I mean a function called "photocopy" I have in my photo program (I use GIMP) that brings out detail sometimes. I use it in lieu of my favourite function "local equalization" that I had back when I used Corel Photo.

I'm still intrigued with the wave-like lines that show up in my photos once I apply photocopy. They seem to covary with where I find spirit in a photo and I "feel" it is maybe a form of energy that occurs when the spirit is sort of manifesting. These waves show up in other places, but more frequently and in-line with the phenomenon. Or so it seems.

I agree this eye is scary. It reminds me of the cranky parrot I used to have named Oscar. Ha ha! He reminded me of the raptors in the Jurassic Park movie. And when he charged me once in anger and bit my calf, I was also reminded of those raptors.

I could crop and post so many of these photographed eyes, but I try to just pick out the best or most convenient. They seem to be everywhere. But interesting around the moon like that.

I tend to see fierce eyes, serpentine eyes, canine eyes, symbolic eyes, kind eyes. All sorts.

I guess we are being watched all the time.

I think it's interesting that the eyes appear in so many different mediums.

Oh my, Oscar sounds like an aggressive character. It's funny how we remember the smallest of aspect of our previous pets and other animals that we see or interact with during our lives.
Maybe Oscar was a raptor and left over issues from his Jurassic days.

I like your choices of pictures to post. I understand about posting the best ones. Clarity in photos goes along way in pondering the mystery behind them.

Oscar is the one in front. He always looked a bit angry (but I loved him...even his crankiness).

Well, isn't he a toughy. My goodness, he's beautiful and bursting with attitude.

He also reminds me of the parrots we had when I was a child. They were a different breed but man they were means as as piranhas with feathers.

Awww, I loved your perception. He was so tough for a guy who weighed a few ounces. He was a kakariki (small New Zealand parrot).

You having had parrots, you know how these guys can be. They are fascinating entities. I do so love birds.

A couple of years ago I glanced out the window and noticed an eye in the big pine tree outside.





The eye remained for a while until I took it for granted then noticed one day it was gone.

The tree grew large quickly and we decided to lop the top off of it last year to slow it down.

Just recently I noticed a new eye forming that is very similar to the first one!

That’s amazing stuff. Not once but twice. The top left picture looks so much like your parrot.
It will be interesting to watch the metamorphosis take place as the tree grows around the eye over time.
