Thanks, Dawn.

Cake is my favourite analogy and food.

I still feel it is a significant sychronicity that we have both been exploring nature spirits this week.

And the fact that you spent "a good portion of the weekend looking through your cloud pictures", makes me feel in kindred company.

It truly pulls you into another world. The more I look at a spirit-filled photo, especially when I am in the zone, the more the background becomes the foreground and all of the dimensions and outlines just become lines and shapes. New boundaries start to appear and I am seeing into another world, and quite often, multiple worlds layered. Chris has also described "falling" into her photos as if being transported. I believe "seeing" is a skill that if nurtured can grow into something even more amazing.
I believe the fairy fanciers call that being pixie-led or pixelated.

Pixie whipped!

Slowly regaining composure...
Thanks for all the fun and contribution, Dawn

Oh, and the Hodson book recommended to me was
Fairies at Work and Play (you can read several pages of it at this Amazon link). Hodson goes straight into describing their appearance and dress. I love how he is so factual, articulate and unapologetic.
