I was in the kitchen, glanced out the window, and was stopped in my tracks when I saw this face across my yard. I got out the camera and shot from inside the house through the window.

I can say with confidence that it is the afternoon sunlight that brings to life so many images for me. A couple of hours before sunset I will often see face after face in the trees in a way so much stronger than any other part of the day.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this as a magical time?
