Getting back to the original thread topic...

What's wrong with Child Safety is that it is the ONLY system that we have... It's all we've got.

The system is screwed up, it's full of workers expected to make decisions that they're not qualified/trained to make and it's full of workers who are given carte blanche instead of following the rules of engagement as they are written.

As I said in a previous post... Changes need to be made at a base level... At the root of the evil.

When laws and guidelines are tightened and changed it leaves no room for interpretation... Therefore CSOs and their supervisors can NOT interpret them how THEY see fit.

Once things MUST be followed as they are set out, this in itself will evoke change.
