Now the fun starts the job of restoring my roof was given to "Impulse Home Improvements" the salesman was full of charm and he guaranteed me a 100% job on the restoration which included the stripping of the paint, FULL re-beding, repointing, re-sealing, a prima bond and the final coats.<br />First day on the Job the Safety rail installers install the rails on the 2 storey house and break 3 tiles, if care was taken no tiles would have been broken.<br />Just after the rails were installed the guy to pressure clean my roof arrived with a pressure gun that made me laugh " I SAID YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING!! I CAN PISS HARDER THAN YOUR CLEANER!,he had one look at my roof and agreed and could'nt wait to get out of the place.<br />What bothers me is I repeated like a parrot, like a parrot, like a parrot to the salesman and to the manager send your biggest GUN OUT!!<br />The salesman said there biggest they have is around 4000 PSI now they can only find a biggest of 3000 PSI,Hummmmmm??????????.<br />Also on the rumour mill is that they want me to sign a disclaimer on the job that means no warranty, now why didn't the experienced saleman tell me that they could not remove all the paint!! because I repeated like a parrot, like a parrot, like a parrot and said to him what happens if you can't remove it all he said nothing about a disclaimer, all his charming personality wanted was my signature but now Impulse wants to move the goal post whilst the game is in motion.<br />Anyhow tomorrow one of their people are going to come out to re-inspect the roof to give me the bad news. In their contract it is written that a cancellation of contract by me will incur a 20% restitution. Now, if I don't sign the disclaimer and they want to pull out of doing the job, are they going to give me a 20% restitution for removing the pool solar heater, which covers approximately 35% of the roof??<br />Will keep all informed.<br />Phil <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/default/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/default/confused.gif" />
